Dried Calendula flower petals.
Color: Yellow-Gold/Orange.
Process: naturally died Calendula flower petals.
Origin: Europe.
Calendula is also called pot Marigold and is a member of the daisy family that is native to Europe. Since the time of the ancient Romans and Greeks, Calendula has been used to make a natural dye for cloth. A strong infusion (tea) of the flowers adds golden highlights to blond hair.
The flowers are also fed to canaries to enhance the color of their feathers. Calendula officinalis (aka pot marigolds or English marigolds): A native of southern Europe, this “marigold” is actually not a true marigold, but is an attractive companion plant nonetheless. Its bright flowers are edible—with a tangy, peppery taste—so it is often grown alongside herbs in kitchen gardens.
Calendula flowers contain antioxidant and anti-inflammatory carotenes, the herb has been used for centuries to make topical preparations to ease eczema, psoriasis, insect bites, abrasions, and other irritations. Infused in oils, used to make lip balms, salves, creams, lotions, and hair and skin rinses. Excellent for making natural diaper rash creams and other products for babies and children.
Calendula is used in the cosmetics and fragrance industries. It is also used industrially as a coloring agent for cheese and other foods.

I made a very large order for a lot of herbs because this shop offered all of the herbs I needed for a tea recipe. Each of them came individually packaged and I appreciate the option to choose organic or wildercrafted. For those who don’t know organic is grown, wildercrafted is harvested from nature. I also like being able to pick how much you get. Cause some herbs go bad after a while so make sure to store them in the freezer. My tea recipe is good for anemia, low iron, period stuff, PCOS, hormones, and liver health. Alfalfa leaf, Dandelion leaf, Red Raspberry Leaf, plantain leaf, nettle leaf, Calendula petals, ginger root, burdock root, dandelion root, sarsaparilla root, yellow dock root, and milk thistle seeds. Ground up your milk thistle seeds ( the amount needed), boil your roots, and steep your leaves and petals apart
